Training and assessment
Close protection training includes demanding practical activity and knowledge assessment. Learners should confirm fitness, identification and prerequisite requirements before booking.
Course structure
The programme consists of 18 days of close protection training plus 3 days of Level 3 First Aid at Work, for a combined 21-day pathway.
Important: SIA licence-linked qualifications can include mandatory classroom attendance, practical training and assessment. Course delivery and licence requirements must follow the current qualification specification and SIA rules in force at the time of training.
